King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, invites applications for the positions of Senior Resident and Junior Resident to fill 502 vacancies. Requirements:

1. Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification: Senior Resident: Candidates must possess an MBBS degree along with MD/MS or DNB qualifications from a recognized university. Age Limit: The applicant's age must be between 18 and 45 years as of the closing date of the application. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms for reserved categories. 2. Application Process Steps to Apply: Visit the official website of KGMU. Verify the details in the official notification. Download and complete the application form accurately. Pay the application fee: SC/ST candidates: Rs. 2,000/- Other categories: Rs. 3,000/- Submit the completed application form along with the required documents to the following address: Medical Superintendent, G.M. & Associated Hospital, Lucknow Ensure the application is submitted on or before 12th December 2024. 3. Selection Process Selection will be based on a Walk-In-Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview, and they must carry original documents for verification. 4. Pay Scale Selected candidates will receive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 50,000/- per month. 5. Documentation Requirements Applicants must include the following with their application: Copy of MBBS, MD/MS, or DNB certificates. Valid registration certificates with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council. Age proof (Birth Certificate/10th Class Certificate). Caste certificate (if applicable). Experience certificates (if any). Passport-sized photographs.

Work conditions:

Conditions of Employment Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess the required qualifications (MBBS, MD/MS, or DNB) for the respective posts. Applicants must ensure their eligibility before applying, as non-compliance will lead to rejection. Age Limit: The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 45 years as of the application closing date. Age relaxation will be as per government norms. Selection Process: Selection will be based on a Walk-In-Interview. Only eligible candidates will be invited for the interview. Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 2,000/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs. 3,000/- for others. Fees must be paid through the specified mode, and proof of payment should be submitted along with the application form. Application Submission: Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format along with relevant documents, including educational certificates, identity proof, and payment receipt. The completed application must be sent to the designated address before 12th December 2024. Late applications will not be considered. Contractual Appointment: The positions are temporary and contractual. The tenure and terms will be governed by KGMU regulations. Salary and Benefits: The consolidated remuneration for selected candidates is Rs. 50,000/- per month, irrespective of the post. Compliance with Regulations: Candidates are expected to adhere to the rules and policies of KGMU. Non-compliance or misconduct may result in termination of the appointment. Reservation Policy: Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates will be as per the Uttar Pradesh government norms. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must bring the original documents for verification during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of Senior and Junior Residents Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients. Assist in surgical procedures and other specialized medical interventions as required. Clinical Duties: Perform ward rounds and update patient records regularly. Manage emergency cases and participate in on-call duties. Teaching and Training: Assist in teaching medical students and junior team members. Participate in clinical discussions, case presentations, and academic activities. Research and Documentation: Engage in clinical research and contribute to medical publications. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient history, treatments, and outcomes. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Adherence to Protocols: Follow hospital policies, ethical guidelines, and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with medical and legal standards in all professional activities. Professional Development: Attend training programs, workshops, and conferences to stay updated with advancements in medical science and technology.
