The National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) invites applications for the position of Public Health Manager. Pay Scale Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹50,000.

Work conditions:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a degree in BE/B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Sc Nursing, DNB, or MD/MS from a recognized institution. Age Limit: Minimum Age: 18 years Maximum Age: 45 years Age relaxation may be applicable as per government norms for reserved categories. Selection Process: The selection process will solely be based on interview performance. Pay Scale: Consolidated remuneration is fixed at Rs. 50,000/- per month. Application Guidelines: Applications must be submitted before or on 12th December 2024. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. General Terms: The position is on a contractual basis, and continuation is subject to performance and project requirements. Responsibilities:

Program Implementation: Oversee the implementation of urban health initiatives under NUHM. Ensure alignment with national and state health program guidelines. Planning and Monitoring: Develop action plans to improve public health outcomes. Monitor healthcare service delivery and report progress to higher authorities. Coordination and Liaison: Collaborate with municipal health departments, hospitals, and NGOs for effective program execution. Act as a liaison between local health workers and government health bodies. Data Management: Collect and analyze health data for informed decision-making. Prepare and submit timely reports and documentation as required by NUHM. Community Outreach: Promote awareness about urban healthcare schemes and initiatives. Organize community engagement programs and health camps. Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal use of allocated resources, including funds and medical supplies. Supervise and guide healthcare staff to achieve program goals. Crisis Management: Address public health emergencies such as disease outbreaks and ensure timely intervention. Capacity Building: Conduct training programs for health workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
